What’s The Actual Issue With Your Drywall? The first problem that we see people have is that they don’t take the time to identify the source to the problem. If you were moving and you hit the wall and all of a sudden there is a hole in it, the source of the problem is very clear. When we are talking about a moisture issue though, we can’t just patch things up and hope that everything is going to be ok. So that’s the first step that we want to take then in order to plan the necessary steps to repair the situation. Drywall Repair Due To A Number Of Minor Imperfections You don’t have to have a huge hole in the wall to be able to want to repair your drywall, quite often we get calls from folks that want to cover up the marks left by the presence of nails on the wall. It is common practice for landlords to call in contractors to repair all of the damages that were caused by the previous tenant, we've worked with plenty of landlords and homeowners to put the finishing touches on their projects and we would love to assist with yours. Large Scale Drywall Issues Most of the time we are going to be able to patch up the problems that we see in drywall rather quickly by cutting through the damaged areas and adding a new patch of drywall, topped off with a fresh coat of paint. In more extreme cases that simple procedure may not be enough. If you are worried that this could be the case for you we could certainly explore more extensive repair options. That way you won’t feel like you are trapped in any way to settle for lower tier options. Adding Texture To Drywall There are different methods to matching the existing texture on a drywall after repair without too much trouble. We are mostly proponents of adding texture through the painting process with a roller which allows us to have more control over what we are doing, and at the end of the day we feel that gives us better results. If you have a particular request on what you’d like to get done we can explore other ideas as well. |
